Greg Hancock won the British Speedway Grand Prix final, although title rival Tai Woffinden goes into the month-long break top of the table as he dropped just three points from his seven rides.
Home hero Woffinden, who had held a charity bike ride from Newport to Cardiff for Great Ormond Street Hospital in the lead up to the event, was on fire throughout the evening to throw down the gauntlet to Hancock, Darcy Ward and Niels-Kristian Iversen.
